Sometimes in life things are so complicated that we think there is not, and never will be, a solution. I share a few words that will encourage you in adversity.
Ten Psalms That Give Hope
Regardless of what religion you profess, surely you have felt, as we all have at some time, that this life is stronger than us that our burdens are too heavy for us to bear, and that it is time to surrender. However, life has taught me that when we turn to the Father, He gives us comfort, help and hope to move on. Today I share with you ten fragments of psalms, in order to give you encouragement, or to share them with that person who feels that they can no longer take it. May your burdens be light and you will soon find that solution that you are looking for so much.
the man who does not walk on the advice of the wicked ,
neither walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the saddle of scoffers …
It will be like a tree planted by streams of water,
that bears its fruit in due season,
and its leaf does not wither;
and everything he does prospers. (Psalm 1: 1,3)
2. In peace I will lie down
and also I will sleep,
because only you, O Jehovah,
you make me live confident. (Psalms 4: 8)
3. These rely on cars,
and those on horses;
but we of the name of the Lord our God,
we will have memory.
They bend and fall;
but we get up
And we stand tall (Psalm 20: 7-8)
4. My God, I trust you ;
don’t let me be ashamed.
Let not my enemies rejoice in me.
Certainly none of those who hope in you will be ashamed;
Those who rebel without cause will be ashamed. (Psalms 25: 2-3)
5. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Who will I fear?
Jehovah is the strength of my life ;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart will not fear;
Though war breaks out against me,
I will be confident. (Psalm 27: 1,3)
6. Who is the man who wants life,
who longs for days to see the good?
Guard your tongue from evil
and your lips speak deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. (Psalms 34: 12-14)
7. Blessed be the Lord; every day we are filled with benefits
the God of our salvation.
Our God is a God of salvation,
and the Lord God is to deliver from death.
(Psalm 68: 19-20)
8. If the Lord does not build the house,
those who build it work in vain;
he will return with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves. (Psalm 126: 5-6)
10 Jehovah is my shepherd; I will lack nothing.
In green pastures he will make me rest;
Beside still waters will shepherd me.
It will comfort my soul;
He will guide me in the paths of justice for his name’s sake.
Although I walk in the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, because you will be with me… (Psalms 23: 1-4)
