Sugar is cancer’s best friend and your worst enemy. Discover how harmful it is to your health and to the health of your family.
We live in one of the societies that has consumed the most sugar in history. In the 1700s, an average person consumed approximately 2 kilos of sugar per year; in 2012 it was determined that each US inhabitant consumes almost 90 kilograms of sugar in the same amount of time. It is known as the white death and its connection to cancer is a reality that we all need to know about.

According to one study, children today are the most “addicted” to sugar and in its most dangerous form: fructose corn syrup. “This formula contains glucose and fructose, but not linked to each other like table sugar, so the body does not need to process it. Therefore, fructose is immediately absorbed and sent to the liver where it is converted into fat.
The high consumption of processed sugars tricks the metabolism resulting in the inability to secrete insulin. This leads to type 2 diabetes, obesity, a decrease in the production of white blood cells, and therefore less response from the body when it comes to fighting infections.
Interesting: In 1890 only 3 out of 100,000 people had diabetes; in 2012, 8,000 out of 100,000 people had contracted the disease.
It is addictive
One of the biggest problems with sugar is that it is highly addictive. The feeling of satisfaction that it produces in the body “is more satisfactory than the effect of cocaine”, felt by a cocaine addict.

What is your connection to cancer?
All cancer cells are anaerobic (they work without oxygen), therefore sugar is their favorite food. This means that if a person suffers from a cancer that has not yet been diagnosed or detected, or has a greater predisposition to cancer and follows a diet high in sugar, they are feeding these cells and facilitating their reproduction.
What to do?
The best solution undoubtedly involves drastically reducing sugar consumption.
Avoiding the consumption of white sugar, black sugar (brown or toasted), agave, and artificial sweeteners that are not stibia. Sugar can be replaced with pure honey, molasses, or coconut sugar.
